Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM & Kimbho App.

Yoga guru Swami Ramdev recently dropped two atomic bombs in the communication industry as the USA did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan 1945 to end the World War-2 but Baba did it just opposite i.e to start a war in the communication industry. Ha…ha….Confused…..?

It was just a joke but what Baba did it definitely not a lesser than dropping out the atomic bombs. So don’t waste any further time and reveal the suspense. So let’s get started.

The first atomic bomb (Patanjali SIM)

Swami Ramdev recently invaded in the telecommunication industry and launched it’s Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM with the association of state-run telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL). Yes, you heard it right and this time it’s not a joke.

There are so many benefits associated with the SIM like medical insurance and life insurance of 2.5 lacs and 5 lacs respectively.

Patanjali SIM is offering a validity period of 30 days, 180 days and 365 days in Rs 144, Rs 792 and Rs 1,584 respectively. Free voice calling, data and SMS benefits apply for the validity period.

These plans are available for members of Patanjali organizations like Bharat Swabhiman Nyas, Patanjali Yog Samiti, Mahila Prakostha, Yuva Bharat, Patanjali Kisan Seva, Swadeshi Samrudhi Card Holder as of now but will be available soon for the general public.

A user of Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM card with the plan of Rs 144 will get 60 GBs of data with a daily limit of 2 GBs for a period of 30 days. However, a subscriber of the Rs 792 will get a total of 360 GBs of data over 180 days, with a daily limit of 2 GBs.

Jio has already created a benchmark in the telecom industry with it’s cheapest data plans ever and now the Patanjali is offering less cheaper plans from Jio. The real war will break out when the Patanjali SIM will available for the general user.

The second atomic bomb (Kimbho App)

After a couple of days i.e on 30th May 2018, Swami Ramdev didn’t stop here and dropped another atom bomb in the communication industry and launched a Swadeshi smart messaging app named Kimbho to compete with WhatsApp and other similar messaging apps head to head.

It’s coincident that the time gap between the launching of these two services (27th May 2018 & 30th May 2018) are similar to dropping the two atomic bomb in Japan (6th August 1945 & 9th August 1945). Haaaa…………….Haaaa…………………….

Kimbho is a smart messaging app just similar to Whatsapp and provides end to end encryption just like WhatsApp and other apps. It has other features like stickers, you can also create your own stickers and you can send any type of file.

This app resembles WhatsApp in almost every sense like its UI and color so you can say that Baba Ramdev targeted to give direct competition to WhatsApp. This app still in its beta phase so there will be many bugs out there for sure. So just give it some time to work properly.

But soon the Kimbho started to face a lot of criticism due to the major security loopholes, a lot of options not working and they released it without fixing it. A French security researcher Elliot Alderson criticise the app a lot on Twitter and even said that it’s a security disaster. And as the Indians do, a flood of memes started on the Twitter, within 24 hours after release the Kimbho app suddenly disappeared from the Google play store for some unknown reason. Let’s wait and watch when will it be available again. And again the interesting news is that this app is not an original app but a rebrand of Bolo App. Now you can say that the second atomic bomb has become misfired.

But one thing is happening for sure that Baba Ramdev marching and invading rapidly into almost every field and this time communication industry. Whats next…..Baba. Haaaa…..haaaa…………

I hope you will like and share it. If you still have any doubt then feel free to ask in the comment section below. And what do you think about the steps which Patanjali took, must tell in the comment section?
